The Riding School at Horses LTD.

This fantastic program is led by our newest trainer, Jennifer Knisley. In this program you will benefit from Mary and Jen’s combined 50 years experience teaching and training. We offer riding lessons to all levels of riders, from the first time leadliner to the seasoned hunter/jumper competitor looking to refine their skills. Our lessons also include instruction in horse care. We aim to provide our students with the proper skills to become well rounded horsemen, which requires a knowledge of basic equine care and management, in addition to time spent in the saddle.

Lessons are held year round, Monday through Saturday, in our all weather, state-of-the-art footing arena. We also have lights, which allows us to continue teaching in the evenings during the shorter days of the year. We have a variety of safe, quality horses and ponies for all levels of riders.

Home School Sessions

This is our newest program and we are so excited to get this one started! Led by Jennifer Knisley, this program is geared towards kids enrolled in a home school program and can be used as Physical Education credits. Each session will have 10 classes held once a week for two hours a class. Riders from elementary school to high school are welcome to attend. Each two hour class will be split into two sections. One hour will be spent learning basic horsemanship, and one hour will be a riding lesson on the horses. At the end of the 10 week session we will host an exhibition for parents and loved ones to come and see how much each child has learned!

The first session will begin on Tuesday September 9th 2025 and run to November 11, 2025.The price for these sessions is $100.00 per class . To sign up please contact Jennifer Knisley at theridingschoolathorseslimited@gmail.com
